Instrument making

This workshop is focused on sound exploration, and opening one’s perception about what is or could be an instrument. The flapping pages of a book? A crispy leaf? Using sensory experiences like micro concerts or our existing installations, we open the participants’ ears. With a few examples of instruments we made, we start creating!

Everyone can join their own way, whether that is playing with marbles and other materials, taking a mallet to every object within reach to explore all the possible sounds, or designing and making a new kind of string instrument. Joining the workshop is a playful exploration rather than goal oriented, and participants will also inspire and influence each other.
