Sounding Oars

For the Grand Snail Tour we developed these instruments to make music with the water. People passing could try playing with these instruments themselves, often leading to wonderful interactions. The sound, the simplicity of the instrument and the physical sensation of the vibrations made this a surprising addition to many peoples’ daily walks.
